Neighborhoods along the growing Marksheffel Rd area feature beautiful homes amidst a prairie setting with a backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. Woodmen Rd to the north provides access to hospitals, N. Academy area shopping, as well as I-25.
Most of the students in this area attend either Sandcreek High School in District 11 or Falcon High School in Falcon District 49. The Banning-Lewis Ranch Academy, a K-8 public charter school, is also located here. Opened in 2006, the BLRA offers students performance-based education, high academic standards, gifted and talented programs, as well as the nationally acclaimed Paragon Curriculum.
