Located in the countryside to the east of Colorado Springs is the "Family oriented community" of Lorson Ranch. Fontaine Rd to the provides access to HWY 85/87 which has plenty of retail stores and restaurants including a Walmart, Family Dollar and countless restaurants. Mesa Ridge Parkway accesses a Safeway grocery store, Lowe's Home Improvement Center and a Walgreens among other smaller shops and convenience stores.
Commuting from Lorson Ranch is a breeze as well. Mesa Ridge Parkway provides direct access to I-25 and Fort Carson to the south, as well as the Colorado Springs Airport to the north. Marksheffel Rd provides easy access to Peterson AFB and Schriever AFB, just about a ten to fifteen minute drive.
Lorson Ranch is served by Widefield District 3 which continually ranks among the top 20 largest of 178 school districts in Colorado. Students here attend Webster Elementary School, Janitell Middle School, and Widefield High School.
The Lorson Ranch neighborhood offers not just peace and tranquility but also fantastic parks and open spaces, great shopping and dining areas as well as excellent festivals and some of the best schools in the state. It is certainly a great place to call home.
