Banning Lewis Ranch is served by the Falcon School District 49, whose mission is to prepare students, in a safe and caring environment, to be successful, competent and productive citizens in a global society. Most of the high school students here attend Falcon High School. The Banning-Lewis Ranch Academy, a K-8 public charter school, is also located here. Opened in 2006, the BLRA offers students performance-based education, high academic standards, gifted and talented programs, as well as the nationally acclaimed Paragon Curriculum.
