Since there is easy access to I-25 from Rockrimmon, commuting is a breeze. The Air Force Academy South Gate is about ten minutes away, while the main gate to Fort Carson is about fifteen to twenty minutes to the south. Commuting to Downtown Colorado Springs is less than fifteen minutes away, and Castle Rock and Denver is just an easy drive to the north.
Air Academy District 20 serves the Rockrimmon neighborhood. D20 is well known as one of the best districts in the state, consistently scoring high in most academic categories, and has one of the best graduation rates in the state. Students here attend Rockrimmon Elementary, Eagle View Middle school and Air Academy High School.
