With Fort Carson and NORAD just a few minutes away, Stratmoor Valley is also ideal for military families. Easy access to I-25 means the the Air Force Academy is also an easy drive to the north. With this location and the affordable prices of homes here, it is no wonder that many military personnel call this neighborhood home.

Since its inception in 1874, the Harrison school district has been committed to its enduring partnership with the community to educate its growing student population. Students here attend Oak Creek Elementary School, Stratmoor Hills Elementary, Fox Meadow Middle School, Gorman Middle School, and Harrison High School.
